Manufacture and Aftercare

Fabrics – Warped Textiles believes in keeping manufacturing in Scotland as much as possible to ensure the highest quality and standards. Our handwoven fabrics have all been lovingly produced in Glasgow using artisan techniques and then washed and finished by Chantal.

Many of Warped Textiles fabrics are hand woven and will therefore have natural and manufacturing characteristics such as slubs and knots. I recommend cleaning in accordance with the care instructions on your products label. Fabrics should be kept out of direct sunlight and heat to protect them from fading. All fabrics are supplied without any soil or flame retardant coatings.

Limited Edition Blankets and Cushions - have been mill woven in Scotland as part of a small batch production by expert weavers who produce beautifully crafted and timeless products. In order to get the best out of your Warped Textiles products I recommend following the washing instructions below:

 Handwoven Scarfs and Cowls

• Hand wash using lukewarm water and a delicate detergent suitable for wool and fine cotton, do not agitate. Gently rinse at the same temperature and squeeze out the excess water. Carefully reshape your product and dry flat.
